Senior Software Engineer- Full Stack/ Generalist

What you will do

In this position you will work on developing the electrolyzer management system along with the control systems, process engineering and power electronics teams. This will entail development of real-time API’s and embedded systems, large-scale data management and visualization and front-end development. This is a key position across several functions and will be the central role around which the software development team will be built.


Your responsibilities

  • Develop web and mobile-based applications for the electrolyzer management system

  • Help develop engineering process

  • Contribute to design, code and documentation

  • Design and integrate APIs

  • Collaborate across several disciplines to define software solutions based on modern software development practice


Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar discipline

  • 2+ years of experience in industry software development 

  • 1+ year experience in at least one of: systems level C, data infrastructure, machine learning, full stack web development or cloud services

  • Proficiency in Python

  • Experience shipping a large software product to customers

  • Basic software development workflow processes with git

  • Experience with project management and agile development

  • An unquenchable thirst for knowledge and the ability to quickly adapt to new situations.

Preferred qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in industry software development with 2+ years of experience in systems level C, data infrastructure, machine learning, full stack web development or cloud services

  • Comfortable writing and using integration and unit tests

  • Working knowledge of control systems

  • Data analysis or statistical computing with Pandas or similar tools

  • Experience in energy, renewables or chemical industry would be a bonus
