What you will do

Your responsibilities

  • Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, vendors and partners

  • Managing end-to-end business processes right from pitching, planning and closing the deal.

  • Work in sync with the product and management team - identifying key customer requirements through continuous engagement, translating business requirements to the product team, identifying long term strategic partners and vendors for current operations and future scale up

  • Supporting the product team in identifying and negotiating with new vendors.

  • Liaison with business stakeholders to gather relevant input and feedback on the vendor performance and monitor key risks to the vendor performance

  • Study existing management processes and help create repeatable systems that can have high impact

  • Strategizing and coordinating across teams for vision alignment and effective planning for efficient delivery

 

Basic qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • 4-8 years overall experience

  • MBA with 3-4 years of sales and marketing / operations / relevant experience in the renewable energy, manufacturing and industrial sectors

  • Analytical bent of mind and data-backed decision making skills

  • Passionate, result oriented with a strong bias for action

  • Capabilities to influence, convince inside/outside

  • Excellent project and people management skills

  • Great stakeholder management (manage up, down, internal & external stakeholders)

  • Extremely resourceful, great at getting stuff done
